Home Improvement with Grandpa and Grandma K

What would a visit by Grandpa and Grandma K be without some home improvement projects?!?!

This time around, Jeff and his dad installed a new oven.

And replaced the garden window in the kitchen with a new double window.

And as long as we were renting the van to bring home the window, we bought some new Queen Palms for the front yard!  (The original palms didn't make it through winter last year.  We left them in for the year, hoping that they might still recover.  But when one finally fell over with only a little pressure put on the trunk, we finally admitted defeat.)
Taking a break from palm trees to do some gymnastics!

No ... Grandma and Grandpa didn't just work while they were here ...

Here's a few more pictures from the St. Patricks Parade.

They spent a day in City Park.

And picked Cassidy up early from school and went to La Freniere park to feed the ducks and play

They spent the night in McComb visiting Nana and Papa!

They headed off to the beach at Dauphin Island, Alabama for a couple days with perfect timing, just as the rain rolled into New Orleans.

They visited the botanical gardens and the bird sanctuary.

And spent some time on the beach collecting seashells.

And we caught the Roadfood festival in the French Quarter, but didn't get any pictures.
Here are a few from dinner that evening though.

To wrap up the trip, on their last day here Cassidy spent the day with them with a trip to the mall and some more quality play time.

Thank you for visiting, Grandma and Grandpa!

And thank you for all of your help once again.
We hope you enjoyed your time here as much as we did!
